If you haven’t seen patatap yet go to the website and have a quick play around (works in Chrome Browser). It’s a really fun interactive web-app (also available on iOS) that produces sound and visuals in your browser (video above made with patatap). Each letter key has a unique sound and visual associated with it and the space-bar changes the background colour. What sets it apart for me are the quality of the sounds and visuals… it looks and sounds great. It could be used for simple cause and effect activities or for more complex group music creation. On Thursday we are going to try it out with one of the summer camps using a couple of MaKeyMaKey to make it even more accessible and fun.
